Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival |

Following the success of our stand at Hampton Court last year the RHS have invited us to take part again. Many of you volunteered to help at the festival and your enthusiasm was essential to it’s success.
We are preparing for the event from 3rd to 9th July and asking for beekeeping volunteers again. There will be two shifts a day, morning & afternoon, which will allow you to spend half a day chatting to the public about bees and the other half visiting the show. This is a really exciting opportunity for Kingston Beekeepers to help gardeners understand the importance of bees and how the right planting can support all pollinators but we will need your help.

| Invite to BDI AGM tomorrow |

| A reminder that the BDI AGM will be held on Monday 22nd May at 7pm. Immediately after the formal business, there will be a talk by Maggie Gill, Regional Bee Inspector for Wales who recently visited Thailand to study first hand the Tropilaelaps mite and how beekeepers there deal with it. KBKA members have the opportunity to watch the talk. |
